REACHING KIDS WITH JESUS.
What does it look like for the entire family to be on mission with Jesus? Here at CrossWinds, we strive to love and value children the same way Jesus does. With such a high calling as our goal, we aim to come alongside families to equip their kids to follow Jesus and live for him.
Children's Worship is our Sunday morning ministry for children 3 years old through 5th grade. During Sunday worship services (September thru May), we provide educational, fun, and exciting ministry opportunities for kids of all ages! This Sunday morning ministry seeks to aid children in understanding the basic scope and sequence of the Bible.
Preschoolers age 3 to those in Kindergarten experience Children's Worship in the gym classrooms. Their growing understanding of God is nurtured through Bible lessons, story retelling, craft, worship through song and prayer. Stations or centers help match attention span and growing independence of children this age.
1st through 5th graders will have classes on the second floor of the gym.
Not sure where to go? Follow the "right" indicating arrow on the tv screen in the main foyer of our building. There is a check in table set up on Sundays in front of the main office at the beginning of each service and someone will lead you to where you need to be at that time.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Every summer, CrossWinds Spirit Lake campus participates in Vacation Bible School (VBS). The week designed for children aged nursery through 5th grade teaches children about who God is and how he loves them. The theme of 2025 was called "Magnified!" which encouraged kids to look closely at the details of God's amazing world and magnify, or proclaim, the greatness of God. Because God made us, cares about us, loves us, forgives us, and is faithful to keep all His promises to us; we can praise God together!
