- Read Zephaniah 1:2–3, 7–8, 14–17. How do these verses describe the day of the Lord?
- Read Zephaniah 1:5–6, 9, 12; 3:5–7. Is this an overreaction? Why is God bringing judgment upon Judah?
- Read Zephaniah 1:18. What are some ways (besides just “silver and gold”) that people look to deliver them on the day of the Lord?
