Kevin and his family have been attending the Spencer campus for several years but were called to the international mission field in Tanzania, Africa in 2023. Upon their return, Kevin joined the team at CrossWinds in January of 2024 in a multisite administrative role.
He primarily works with and is very passionate about our various outreach ministries, as well as being our resident expert on the Church App - making him the person to talk with if you're having issues or would like one-on-one training for this invaluable set of church communication tools.
Kevin grew up in a Christian home but didn't take his faith seriously until much later in life after a series of traumatic experiences involving alcohol. Kevin has been in recovery for nearly a decade when he accepted Jesus Christ into his life. When he isn't working, you'll find Kevin on the water or on the trail system with his wife Tara and their two boys - Oscar and Philip. They spend their summers in Okoboji and otherwise live on Grand Avenue in Spencer, where they also spend time as a family helping with the free community meals served at "The Outreach" in South Spencer.
